Who You Are: A warm, highly organized Front Desk & Customer Experience Associate who will be the welcoming face of our HQ and help deliver exceptional service to our community. In this role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for customers, guests, and partners—both in person and across digital channels. You’ll spend most of your time supporting customer service while also helping keep our office operations and team culture running smoothly.

Reports to: VP of Marketing

What You’ll Do: 

Customer Experience (70%)

  • Serve as the front desk host at Fur HQ, greeting guests and assisting onsite estheticians and their clients
  • Manage customer communications across platforms (including emails, reviews or by phone)
  • Support retail checkout and POS transactions in our HQ space
  • Assist customers with product questions, orders, policies, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with fulfillment to resolve returns, missing packages, and order issues
  • Handle customer concerns with empathy and a customer-first mindset
  • Share customer insights with marketing, product, and operations teams
  • Contribute to reporting that helps track customer feedback and improve the experience

Office Operations (20%)

  • Maintain office supplies, kitchen, and shared spaces and manage incoming packages
  • Coordinate vendor services and weekly facilities tasks
  • Support setup and logistics for external events (~1 per month)
  • Monitor and respond to facilities-related requests

Employee Engagement (10%)

  • Manage Slack announcements celebrating team milestones and holidays
  • Help coordinate team events (~1 per month)
  • Support logistics for regular all-hands meetings and team gatherings (2-4 annually)

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or administrative support role 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple channels and priorities effectively
  • A friendly, proactive attitude and enthusiasm for representing the Fur brand in person and online

What We Offer: Fur offers benefits consistent with New York State law to part-time employees, including paid sick leave 

Hourly Rate: $24 per hour 

Schedule: This is a part-time (20-25 hours per week), onsite position on a regular weekly schedule.
